The aim of this research is to identify the types of materials, qualities and quantities through the characterization of organic solid waste produced at the canteen and the food bank at ETITC in order to make good use of it, through existing techniques such as the production of composting by traditional methods, by electric compost bins and by worm farming and at the same time a comparative table to evaluate their efficiency will be conducted. Research seeks response to this based on institutional normative guidelines and environmental needs in terms of good waste management and its implementation of the environmental action through comprehensive and effective activities that strengthen the coexistence and social and environmental profitability of the institution and its researchers.
